Remember how I said that my life had some weird synchronicity where some small thing will come up around the same time of year, years apart?

OK, so making up the same fake Mexican restaurant on the same day five years apart is a little freaky. I have no recollection of using that name before, but duh - it means Fat Ass, so that's not really a stretch.

My husband just bought the complete box set of Cheers, and we are currently working our way through the first few seasons (we're on season three, just about to lose Coach). And it still holds up.
My point is, I promised salient examples of my observations, and now I've done that. BOOM!
OK - so, my Mystery Box arrived. It's 2 shirts, a dress, and a hoodie. I think I'll use all of them - though the shirts are identical in style, but in 2 different fabric types and patterns. They are architectural and have a very specific silhouette that I would never have picked for myself. The colors and patterns are both lovely, though.
The dress is a tank dress, and a little loose in the chest, so I'll be getting a shirt to wear under it. I like it, though again, I probably would have, if choosing that dress, picked a sleeved version of it.
The hoodie is very nice. Soft, comfortable. It is fitted, so if I wear it, it would be unzipped, for the most part. It does have those fun little thumb holes in the sleeve, so I feel pretty sporty when I wear it.
I think that maybe going forward, I'll just buy a piece there if I really, really want it. The clothing fits, is well-made and definitely work the price of admission - it's just more fashion forward than I am:
I think they also assume I'm taller than I truly am. Again - not mad at it - just, going to have to get good at tying. And ironing. #OrigamiMami
Anyway - Mystery Solved.
There are some other things going on - work, family, life... but that can wait for another day. Or several.
