Sick. Oh.

No surprise to me, I'm working on releasing some demons from my sinuses and chest.  It's the common cold, and it's got me in a headlock.

I would like to drill a small hole in my forehead to release the pressure, but I know that won't work.  Sleeping isn't an option, it's a work day, but you can imagine I slept a bunch over the weekend.

None of it surprises me terribly, as I say.  For starters, I work from home now, and I don't get exposed to much - so my herd immunity means that my herd is me, Piper and my husband.  Maybe the occasional Kroger trip or dinner with Jim, but I'm not venturing out consistently.  So of course, when I get among people for the first time in awhile, my immune system is going to be less effective at kicking out the riff-raff.

Add to that, I have been working on high levels of adrenaline. Getting ready for Mom's event, plus chaos at work had me using that homemade rocket fuel to get through the day.

Now that I've been over exposed, and my exposure is over, it only stands to reason that my body decided to take a break, by force.

Anyway.

It's hard to think of much else when you have Slimer from Ghostbusters living inside you:

I've been slimed!

That's really all that's going on at the moment.  I am so much more than my sinuses, but at the moment, they are front and center, so I'm going to let them settle down and I'll be back.
