I shouldn't have posted the open letter rant about jury duty and my mother the other day, and I have pulled it down.
Sometimes, my ego, and the need to prove that my mind is still nimble gets in the way of my better judgment.
Please understand, I love my mother, the legal system, and life in general.
But some days, I find myself at the end of my rope. At which point, all I can do is tie a knot and swing.
But if anyone should appreciate HIPAA, informed consent, and sensitive information, I guess it should be me.
So, you know - I would ask that the six or so of you who saw it to forget it, and I'll do better going forward. Maybe not better. Maybe just... different.
