I have a gift for gifs.
The other day, I was searching gifs to send to a friend - I wanted to indicate that I felt over-full and fat after a large meal.
This is the one I found:
It tickled me because, I felt like if I took off my jeans and put on a pink tank top, and sat on the floor, this would be me, busting out all over. Maybe not quite that rounded up top, but this is how I feel.
This gif led me to these two:
They all apparently come from a game called Fat Princess, wherein you feed the princess and she expands. Honestly, it's the overstretched white underpants that make me giggle. I owned plenty of that kind in bulk from Wal-Mart back when I traveled. And after a long day, I'd get to the hotel, take off my work clothes, turn down the air and sit around the room. And when I sat around the room, I sat around the room. Yo blogger so fat, she spits butter.
Full disclosure. I find the word "panties" embarrassing to say, and even a little weird to write. But clearly, I see London, I see France, I see big white underpants.
Panties. There. I said it. White cotton granny panties. I bought them because they were inexpensive, and good for travel. I do occasionally splurge for something prettier, but since nobody really sees them... a jumbo pack works well for my sartorial needs.
Now, on the other hand - I had to go bra shopping today. I was getting a little threadbare. That's where the underwear budget goes. As a woman of size, I need support - and since my funbags are not round like the princesses, I need all the help I can get. I went a little crazy, but what the heck - it was time.
Ok - I'll stop with the underwear talk. But we all have it, we all buy it. No shame.
I also want to be clear, I'm not fat-shaming myself or these princesses. I think they're all cute as a button. They clearly enjoy cake, and they seem to embrace their zaftig figures.
Anyway, that's my thoughts on the day.
Go sit around in your big girl panties and enjoy some cake...
