Today, I am wearing new pants. Why does that matter? Well, it matters because they fit. And that matters because I bought them at Old Navy. And they’re size 16. Not a plus size 16, either.
So not only am I into “Misses” sizes, they’re not even the biggest size Old Navy makes. I say this because it’s going to be another interesting week at Weight Watchers. So, at least I can wear my new pants and feel good about the overall progress. I also bought two other pair at Macy’s. Also size 16. Nice. Plus, with pants that actually fit, I'm not tempted to fill the empty space.
At the moment, I’m dealing with biological warfare in my reproductive sector. Which is to say, menstrual cramps. I’ve made a change with my birth control recently, and I can’t help but wonder, to paraphrase my sister, if the juice is worth the squeeze. My body at-large says yes, but my left ovary says, “Shut the fuck up, I’m trying to kill you, slowly.”
I enjoy being a girl!
We had dinner with friends last night and it was great. We ended it with fro-yo from Pinkberry – I’ll go back there in a heartbeat. Lo-Cal Decadence!!!
I didn’t get nearly enough done this weekend. I did some laundry, I did some vacuuming, and that was great. I didn’t end up getting a massage, but that was OK.
Time keeps on slippin’ (slippin’) into the future…
Meanwhile, we’re planning an outing to Chattanooga mid-August. A little ballgame with the family. I can’t wait!!
Lola may not be too thrilled…
That’s really all. I hope this day finds you well and happy.
